I got home from work last Friday to find that Becky had started to pull down the wallpaper in our kitchen. You can check some previous blog post for "before" pictures.
Becky and Dad decided to take off the back splash tile on Saturday.
Brian Weed gave Becky some pointers on mudding.
Becky helped me swap out the ceiling fans for new light fixtures. Becky put on primer on Tuesday and painted like crazy on Wednesday.
Our flooring guy came on Thursday.
Becky hasn't yet given my the final tally on the cost of this makeover, but having a wife happy with her kitchen is "priceless."
Becky even talked me into swapping out our old "gold" living room ceiling fan for this one.
